Fishing should be a fun experience for all on board. On the Spring Mix II, our Captain Chris Watkowski has over 25 years of experience fishing inshore and offshore from the Florida Keys to Ocean City, Maryland. Captain Chris and his mates will show their experience in the detail that is taken every day in rigging the rods, baits and preparing the boat for your day of fishing. Pre-Trip safety inspections are done every day and the overall maintenance that is done day in and day out on the Spring Mix II will ensure that you have a fun and safe day on the water. During the winter months, the Spring Mix II will be docked in Islamorada, Florida at the Postcard Inn mm84 ( world-famous Tiki Bar) from November to April. During the summer months, we call home the “White Marlin Capital Of The World” Ocean City, Maryland. From May-Oct. the Spring Mix II is conveniently located at the Ocean City Fishing Center slip B-12. 12940 Inlet Isle Lane Ocean City, Maryland 21842. Once you have booked your trip get ready for one of the most memorable fishing trips of your life. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to offshore fishing, our goal on the Spring Mix II is for you and your group to have the time of your life. The Spring Mix II is rigged for serious fishing. Our Coast Guard License allows us to accommodate up to 6 passengers. Check out our photo gallery, as you will see how much fun the kids will have on the Spring Mix II as well as the grandparents. Once you have booked your trip, you will talk with the owner or captain about the time of departure. If you are in town the day before your trip feels free to stop by the boat in the afternoon 4 pm—6 pm to talk to the captain and mate about the following day’s trip. You will receive good information about the weather, where you will be fishing, and baits that will be used. This will be a good time to get to know the crew. The morning of the fishing day will be busy for the crew preparing to leave the dock. Please have your group at the boat 15 minutes before departure time and be ready to leave.
We provide all bait, fishing equipment, fishing licenses, ice for your food and drinks, and ice for your catch to keep it cold and fresh until
back to the dock. You should bring the following items with you: hats, long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, food, drinks, sunscreen, and a hone/camera. Beer and wine are permitted on board, but please no glass containers of any kind. No hard liquor or illegal drugs will be permitted onboard as well as no BANANAS. We have plenty of dry storage on board so if you are not sure of the weather pack an extra raincoat or dry clothing as it can be easily stored in the cabin for easy access if needed. If at any time before or during your charter you have any questions, the crew will be more than happy to answer them. Once you have selected your date you will pay a $500.00 deposit. This payment can be made on Pay Pal, personal or
business check or contact us for secure credit card payments The balance of the charter will be due before departing from the dock on the day of your charter. Balances paid the day of the trip must be in CASH! If paying your balance by credit card, that payment must be received 48 hours before your charter date. Credit card payments can be done on Pay Pal our account is
firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us for secure credit card payments. Fuel surcharge may apply to all trips if diesel fuel is $3.75 per gal. or higher on the day of your trip at the Ocean City Fishing Center/Postcard Inn.
Mate works for tips: Your mate for the day will work hard before, during, and after your trip. All mates working on the Spring Mix II will be professional and have years of offshore and inshore experience. The customary tip is 20%. All fishing charter rates include ice for your food and drinks as well as ice to keep your catch cold and fresh until back to the dock. Fish Cleaning: Charters out of Postcard Inn Islamorada, Florida the Spring Mix II’s captain or mate will clean your catch for you. Tipping is appreciated! Charters out of the Ocean City Fishing Center Ocean City, Maryland fish cleaning is available. The Ocean City Fishing Center has fish cleaners on site. Fish Cleaning rates are posted at the fish cleaning table and are separate from your charter rate.
