Make up Open Boat trips

Make Up/Open Boat Trip:
If you do not have enough anglers to fill the boat no worries. We will team you up with some other clients that are ready to get offshore just like you. Just give us a call to let us know the date or dates you are available to go, we will do the rest. We have a running list of clients that are ready to go with 48hr notice. This is how it works ! Call us to get your date or dates on the calendar. Return the signed booking form that will be emailed to you, make the payment that is due, all make up/ open boat spots are paid for in advance of the trip date. As soon as the boat is full we will notify you that the trip is a go. If for some reason we have to cancel due to weather or we could not fill the boat we will select a different date. If we can not come up with a date that works for you we will return your payment in full. Your payment will cover all fishing equipment, bait, fishing license, ice for your food and drinks as well as ice to keep your catch cold until back at the dock. Our mates work for tips, the customary tip for an offshore trip is 20%. All caught fish are divided evenly among all paying clients on board. Fish cleaning is available at the marina, those rates are posted at the fish cleaning table. Fish cleaning is not included in your charter rate.

Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations for full or make up charters must be done 7 days before the trip date. If less then 7 days you will forfeit any money that has been paid to date. No shows the day of the trip client is responsible to pay the full charter rate. Weather related issues or a cancellation by the Captain can be rescheduled or a full refund will be issued if a date to reschedule does not work . We do not play with Mother Nature ! If the weather is unsafe so that the Captain makes the call to cancel the trip we will try to reschedule if the charter party is available on a different date.
